Hello, a bit about me...

I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. I majored in Biology at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (Peru) and got a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Stanford University.
I've led national science outreach programs across Peru and the U.S. with Foldscope Instruments and founded Yachaq Warmi - Mujeres en STEM, a network of 460+ women scientists across Peru. I serve on the board of the Amazon Center for Environmental Education and Research (ACEER) and hold a Public Leadership Credential from Harvard Kennedy School.
I advocate for science's crucial role in society as a powerful tool to empower others, a conviction that has led me into science outreach across the U.S. and Peru.
